In lecture, I indicated that the remaining sections of Lecture 28 would be taught through posted recordings, as a substitute for our lack of a lecture due to Retake AB. Well, here they are! Please watch them before the lecture following Retake AB.
First is Section C where we introduce parametrized surfaces.
Next is Example 4 we get practice parametrizing a cylinder, then using the parametrization to identify a normal vector.
Next is Section D where we show how to use a parametrization to find a surface area.
Last is Example 5 where we calculate the surface area of a cone.
